I’m Dr Susan Jameson, AHPRA registered chiropractor and also a qualified osteopath and homeopath. I’ve had over 35 years’ experience in helping people regain and maintain their health. Because everyone’s needs are unique, I treat each person as an individual, providing quality time and a high standard of care.
Over the years I have developed a relaxing, restorative style of chiropractic treatment that also reflects my osteopathic training. This includes soft tissue massage, heat packs, dry needling, craniosacral therapy and diversified spinal adjusting, all according to patient preference and tolerance. Therapeutic stretches and exercises are provided to relieve pain and improve function. X-Rays and scans may be needed in some cases but are not a pre-requisite for most treatment. Nutritional, herbal and homeopathic medicines may be recommended to promote health and recovery.
My first qualification was as a registered nurse in Auckland, New Zealand. Although I loved the diversity and stimulation of hospital medicine, I became increasingly drawn to the complementary health disciplines. In London I completed my osteopathic qualification in 1981, which in turn led to studying chiropractic in California. After graduation in 1986 I practiced as a chiropractor in the San Francisco Bay Area for ten years. During this time I also studied homeopathy, nutritional medicine and craniosacral therapy, before finally studying dry needling in Australia. I now incorporate all of these skills in the clinic, and update regularly with the latest information to maintain best practice.
